Ninja Sport Championship

NSC is the Ninja Sport Network championship series built around high-level pro, amateur, and youth competition, with qualifying events feeding championship rounds.

Pathway

How the League Works

01

NSC competitions are built around three disciplines of ninja: Hybrid, Speed, and Burnout. The system is meant to test athletes across different course demands instead of a single style of run.

02

NSC Pro competitions start with a preliminary round that anyone eligible can register for. Athletes must be at least 13 years old by the day of competition.

03

From the preliminary round, the top 15 Open athletes and top 15 Female athletes advance to the Finals round.

04

Finalists run three more courses in the Finals round: Hybrid, Speed, and Burnout. The winner is decided by adding points from placement across all three final courses.

05

The Youth Championship season expands the NSC format to younger athletes using the retry system and combined scoring across three ninja disciplines.

06

Youth qualifiers use three age divisions: 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13. All youth athletes run Hybrid and Speed at each qualifier, and the top 10 boys and top 10 girls also run Burnout.

07

A 13-year-old athlete is not eligible for Youth if they have placed within the top 15 of the NSC regular season.

08

The Amateur Championship is intended for athletes preparing for the pro division and improving NSC ranking. Athletes may compete in both pro and amateur, but they are not eligible for amateur if they made top 15 in an NSC Pro event in the current season.

09

NSC registration opens throughout the season as dates are released on the website and social channels. Patreon supporters receive one hour of early access to registration.

Course Rules

Balanced ninja course with retry scoring

Hybrid

Hybrid is one of NSC's three core disciplines and is used in prelim, youth, and finals-style competition structures.

Hybrid uses the NSC Retry System. Athletes get two retries on each obstacle and must complete the obstacle to keep advancing.

Every failed attempt counts as a fail and affects the athlete's score. If an athlete fails the same obstacle three times, the run is over.

After a failed attempt, the athlete returns to that obstacle's designated start platform, waits through the course reset time, and restarts only after the judge gives clearance.

Fastest controlled completion under retry rules

Speed

Speed is NSC's race-oriented discipline and is used alongside Hybrid in youth qualifiers and in NSC finals scoring.

Speed also uses the NSC Retry System: two retries are available per obstacle, each failed attempt adds a fail, and the athlete must complete the obstacle to move on.

Three failures on the same obstacle ends the run. The reset procedure is the same: return to the start platform, wait for the designated reset time, and go only when the judge releases the athlete.

Because placement points matter in the overall NSC result, athletes must balance aggressive pace with clean execution and avoid collecting costly fails.

Final endurance separator

Burnout

Burnout is NSC's final high-pressure discipline and is used after Hybrid and Speed in finals-style formats.

In Youth Championship qualifiers, all athletes run Hybrid and Speed first, then the top 10 boys and top 10 girls in each age division advance to Burnout.

In Pro Finals, finalists run Hybrid, Speed, and Burnout, with winners determined by combined placement points across the three final courses.

Burnout is meant to separate athletes by grip endurance, composure, and consistency after they have already been tested on the other NSC course types.

Reset time is different for every course and is based on the time required to reset the longest obstacle on that course.

NSC final scoring is placement-based across the final courses. Athletes are not judged by only one course; the combined placement points across Hybrid, Speed, and Burnout determine the winner.

NSC publishes run order and results through its public leaderboard system, with course categories such as Prelim Hybrid, Prelim Speed, Hybrid, Speed, Burnout, and Overall Results.
